DRB - Super Edge
Re-designed and specially reinforced structures inside the rubber track make its edges even stronger. These features increase the service life of DRB rubber tracks by up to 45% in comparison to tracks from other leading OEMs.
The most common reason for torn edges is the repeated driving over, e.g., kerbstones, in a pointed angle. Another reason why edges tear is the repeated bending of the tracks' outer edges when turning against walls.
To address the issue of torn edges, DRB re-enacted exactly this scenario when testing their tracks.
The rubber tracked machine was tested repeatedly along a 25-meter kerbstone to identify the ideal reinforcement factor for outer edges.
This is another area where the New Standard rubber track is setting standards worldwide.
